PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The purpose of this position is to build complex assemblies, troubleshoot, and repair other assembled products as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare work to be assembled by analyzing blueprint specifications, and assembly instructions.
• Set-up workstation including part list; material for subassemblies, hand tools and other materials.

• Build complex assemblies that vary in tolerance and quality specifications
• Verify specifications by performing in-process inspections and testing using measuring and gauging tools
• Resolve assembly problems by making appropriate mechanical adjustments and repairs
• Maintain or improve upon production standards
• Build basic high volume and repetitive assemblies.

• Maintain quality standards
• Report production time accurately and timely

EQUIPMENT USED: Hand and power tools, measuring and gauging tools

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years complex assembly or technical experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal communication
• Strong eye-hand coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Quality focused
