Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to create and execute sales prospecting methods in support of Ball Screw and Linear Motion Industry sales goals and strategies.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Research and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Proactively pursue and foster relationships with potential industries who may benefit from our products
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, build relationships with potential clients, and partners with customers relying on product knowledge and experience to create new sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective client and Inside Sales Representative
  • Provide Sales Reports on prospect results
  • Utilize CRM to identify and track all sale opportunities
  • Stay abreast on RBS products, service, and markets with respect to sales opportunities and strategy
  • Travel at least 25% of the time within the United States to represent the company and achieve designated sale goals
  • Follow safety rules
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Education:

A bachelor's degree in engineering a related technical field, or equivalent skills and experience is required

Experience:

  • 3 years experience in business development, technical sales or customer service experience is required
  • 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • 2-3 years experience using Excel and spreadsheet manipulation is required
  • Knowledge of CRM or related databases
