Inside Technical Sales Specialist
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of this position is to support existing customers with product selections and generate new sales by actively pursuing leads generated through the Customer Relationship Management System for both Rockford Ball Screw and Rockford Linear Motion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer sales calls and provide customer support
- Generate customer quotes, proposals and manage the entire sales progress
- Maintain existing and prospective customer databases by actively utilizing the Customer Relationship Management system
- Follow-up on CRM referrals to identify potential customers, generate interest, and create a sales opportunity
- Maintain positive relationships with existing customers through regular post-sale customer service follow-ups
- Serve as a liaison with production, shipping, or outside carriers to trace or expedite delayed shipments
- Actively utilize internal the Material Resource Planning system to assist customers with order forecasting and delivery dates.
- Serve as internal sales support for all territory locations and outside sales representatives to ensure positive distributor relationships
