Machine Programmer Operator Fanuc Controls - 2nd Shift

Rockford Ball Screw is growing and looking for an experience Lathe Programmer Operator and Set up for our 2nd shift.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of this position is to set-up, program and operate CNC Mazak Lathe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review router for part processing
• Write/Edit CNC programs to customer specifications using Fanuc programming
• Set-up machine and gauging equipment per blue prints
• Update and document set-up sheets as required
• Manage workflow through the CNC work cell
• Develop, prepare, optimize, and maintain CNC programs, part fixturing, tooling development, and set-up procedures
• Operate CNC equipment as required between set-ups
• Maintain or improve upon production standards
• Perform first piece and in-process inspections or testing
• Train or support other operators in proper machine set-up techniques

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2-5 years experience in /Fanuc/Mazak programming
• 2-5 years experience in CNC Lathe / Multi-axis programming, set-up and production runs
• Ability to read and interpret blue print drawings
